Four final year students of Sunyani-Tanoso Nursing Training College have been confirmed dead in an accident on Sunyani-Abeseim road after they were returning from VGMA Nomination Jam held in Sunyani yesterday. Only the driver survived but with multiple injuries.
They’re Dora Maga 24, 23-year-old Florence Osei Tutu, Gifty Yeboah 24 and Vivian Coffie 23. Aged between 23 and 25.
Maame Yaa Boatemaa, a good friend of Dora, said on Facebook that Dora a.k.a (bog3) knew nothing but still struggled and was desperate to be a nurse. She claimed she used to laugh at her. And this is really sad news to her. Yaa wished in her comment that Dora rest in peace: “RIP my good friend.”

It wasn’t a taxi. It was a private car. And the driver was in his seat belt. So he had some scratches on his right shoulders. See the car in a resultant position with all the four tires facing upwards below:
The car they were travelling in crashed into a tree. The Police said the driver lost control of the steering wheel and as a result the car veered off the road and hit a tree. The vehicle somersaulted with the four tires facing upwards.
The four females died on the spot, leaving the driver who is currently on admission at the regional hospital.
Their bodies have been deposited at the regional hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
This is a month of death in Ghana, especially, of the youth in Ghana.
